About Us
We are from Himachal. All of us.
We grew up with winding roads, pine forests, misty rooftops, and voices that carry through the hills.
Then we left.
We, Surya, Prachi, and Shubham, moved to Gurugram for work. We went with curiosity. The city was kind. We learned, we grew, and we built good things with good people. Even on the busiest days, Himachal stayed in our minds.
In 2019, I, Prachi, began thinking about a simple idea. In our towns, very few people were using social media to promote their work. Most shops and artists relied on word of mouth. I wanted to help them stay in Himachal, follow their passion, and still grow. I wanted them to be seen.
That is how Himachalites began. Not with a pitch, but with a steady feeling that refused to leave.
Surya is the founder. He is an art director with ten years in visual storytelling, UI and UX design, and branding. The look and feel of Himachalites is his work, clean, grounded, true to its roots.
I am Prachi, the co-founder. I bring nine years in writing, strategy, SEO, copywriting, and digital marketing. I turn what we feel into words you can read and act on.
Shubham worked for eight years as a graphic and UI and UX designer. Today, he is both our model in every video we shoot and our photographer. He captures Himachal as a living place, full of people and stories, never just a backdrop.
Along the way, people joined in.
Shivam gathers stories that might slip through the cracks: festivals, traditions, and local voices.
Soham took our idea and built a working website, so the work could live online.
And Prashant Vazirani, one of our earliest supporters, helped with ideation and conceptualisation. He made us ask better questions, and he helped shape the path we chose.
Today, many people use social media to grow their business. Some find success. Many do not. The gap is not talent, it is guidance and consistency. That is where we help.
We create visuals, stories, and short films that make local work visible. We bring small businesses and community projects into the light, so they can thrive right here in Himachal.
So that is us, a small team from Himachal, shaped by the city, pulled back by the hills. We are here to make local work visible, and to make it easier for our people to thrive at home.
This is not just a brand. It is a return, and an open door for collaboration. If you have a story, we are ready to help you tell it.
